Studio Deep Roots is a welcoming home for movement and rejuvenation in the Greenwood neighborhood of Seattle. Our vision is to combine dance and performance arts with the healing work of therapy, massage, and other body work practitioners in one welcoming space. We have a funky facility which has separate spaces housing two sprung bamboo floor dance studios and three private therapy offices, multiple waiting rooms, dressing area, and kitchenette.

Our Wellness Wing offers three treatment rooms–private office spaces ideal for a variety of health and wellness disciplines, including massage, reiki, talk therapy, life coaching, consulting, and more. These rooms have their own quiet waiting area with lots of natural light and comfortable seating for your guests and clients to relax in.

We are seeking experienced, motivated, reliable, and friendly practitioners interested in bringing their talents into our collective. Working here means not only having a space of your own to grow your practice, but also means tapping into a ready-made community of dancers, yogis, artists, and athletes who come to our space to revel in movement, and could benefit from your talents for healing and recharging those hard-working bodies. Our goal is work cooperatively and collaboratively with our practitioners, teachers, and guests to support each other’s work.

Keep in mind that Studio Deep Roots is a multi-use/multi-discipline facility and as such there are many activities and guests moving through common areas of the space throughout the day. We have installed sound-buffering doors and taken measures to mitigate sound bleeding through our eclectic facility, but be aware that some practitioners may prefer having music or a white noise machine to create the ideal atmosphere. Monday-Friday 6am-6pm is our quietest hours at this time, with our evenings and weekends seeing much more bustling activity in the dance/event spaces.

Rent is full time -OR- monthly, per day of the week, depending on which room. See the room description for more information. Rentals include 24 hour access to the facility and a variety of thoughtful amenities.

Our Wellness Wing Spaces

The Orange Room
At an intimate 97 sq ft, this room is ideal for massage, talk therapy, acupuncture, meditation, or remote office space. Furniture includes a small counter with cubby storage, accent chair, massage table, and area rug. Decorated in warm earth tones and soft lighting.

$125/month per day of the week
$100/month with 3 month contract commitment

The Green Room
Light, high ceilings, this space has a colorful custom cabinet, rolling stool, and a power lift professional massage table. Decorated in joyful greens, teals and whites. A small clerestory window draws in natural light from our west-facing lobby windows while maintaining your privacy. Great for consulting, talk therapy, remote office space for meeting clients, and more. 

$750/month incl all util & wifi

The Purple Room
Warm and inviting, this room has cubbies which can double as some counter space, small chair, and area rug. Decorated in deep purple, whites, and blues. This room really envelops you in warmth and comfort, ideal for massage, therapy, personal training, aesthetic services, or...? We have had a lash extension & sugaring business, massage practitioners, and pilates trainers in this space. Could also be great for chiropractic care, naturopathic medicine, and therapy.
