Diana discovered yoga and Pilates as a way to keep herself strong, and
injury-free so that she could continue her work as a dancer and teaching
Diana offers yoga and Pilates one-on-one session and classes through her
seasoned eye as dancer and performer. She is a certified Pilates instructor
in the rehab style of Stott Pilates, and in optimizing performance
through the Fletcher method.
She is trained in Vinyasa Flow and Forrest Yoga styles and approaches
yoga as a soothing and invigorating modality based on her ongoing
training in the ancient Indian science of Ayurveda.
Diana is from Mexico, loves traveling, and invites you to join a retreat.

Motion33 Pilates Mat Classes @ Studio Deep Roots are the floor work version of the Pilates method with a hint of yoga at the end for relaxation. These classes take place in a group setting using your body weight as the primary source of resistance. If you are looking for more energy, or core strength or both to improve your dance technique, sport performance or simply want to get stronger to rock your world, this is the class for you. German born master teacher Joseph Pilates, creator of this technique, used to say this, which happens to be proven true over and over:
“In 10 sessions you’ll feel the difference, in 20 sessions you’ll see a difference, and in 30 sessions you’ll have a whole new body” –Joseph Pilates
The focus is placed on precise movements originating from the DEEP ROOTS of your center or core of your body, therefore finding the freedom to move more efficiently and effortlessly. Working from the deepest layers of muscles, which stabilize and support your spine and pelvis, resulting in a strong, flexible spine with ideal posture and alignment. Classes emphasize the foundational principals of Pilates while offering modifications and variations to suit each students individual needs. Motion 33 style also incorporates yoga asanas or exercises to relax you at the end, this is what makes this class unique.
Important: If you have an injury or chronic pain. we recommend one-on-one sessions instead, Motion 33 will meet you wherever you are and help you re-build your strength.
